founding protocol Case File #005 - mihaela
“This is not your average branding program. It’s a process of remembering who you are, who you serve, and how to communicate that without second guessing yourself into oblivion.
It gave me the language, structure, and confidence. But more than that, it gave me relief. I highly recommend it to anyone building something real.”
Meet mihaela
Mihaela was starting a new business after her health coaching business had been in limbo for two years due to poor alignment between her values and the health coaching industry.
“Before going through The Founding Protocol, I knew what I wanted to distance myself from and what I was moving towards, but was not quite clear on how to communicate that to my audience in a coherent and consistent way.”
What were your goals when you joined The Protocol?
I was hoping to put my values and my why into clear words so they could guide my what, how, and for whom– so I can communicate what my business is about and how some people can benefit from the services and products I offer.
What improvements have you noticed in your business?
I stopped feeling my business strategy is throwing spaghetti at the wall because everything is guided by my business values, vision, and mission– all of which are aligned with my personal values and those of my ideal audience.
I also stopped creating things quickly just to participate in bundles, only to feel disappointed when people don’t engage with what I offered for free in the bundle.
Some other wins I’ve noticed are:
I can articulate what my new business is on the coming soon page of my new website.
I cancelled some business support subscriptions that aren’t aligned with my new business and invest in better aligned tools and support.
Because I now have a clear idea of the direction of my new business and its needs, I can invest strategically instead of wasting financial resources.
I am pretty sure there will be financial wins once my new offers are created from a sense of alignment and not urgency to participate in collaborations. I do value collaborations, but now these can be guided by values and I won't just gain numbers of followers but those who really need my services will be able to find me and my business - win-win-win.
What did like most about this Protocol?
Even though the process is quite intense, I could take my time learning and applying it in my own way. This is a high-touch, high-value program, and live workshops can feel stressful for me personally, so I opted out.
I still had access to the entire training and materials and could communicate and ask for feedback when needed. Having access to recordings of the other students sharing their work and getting feedback was invaluable, too and inspiring insights about my brand.
